BANANA BRUH
Terms of Use & Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 1, 2026
Local play stays on your device. Online play uses game-room data. Banana Bruh supports local matches with humans and bots, plus optional online rooms. Your nickname and preferences are saved locally. Online play sends your nickname, session information, and match actions to our game server so players can share a match. The Game has no advertising or analytics SDKs.
1. Terms of Use
1.1 About the game and these terms
These terms apply to your use of Banana Bruh (the “Game”), a turn-based rooftop banana-throwing game developed by Pop Ride Games (“we,” “us,” and “our”). By downloading or using the Game, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Game. If you are not old enough to accept these terms under applicable law, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use.
1.2 Permission to play
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and play the Game for personal, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these terms and the applicable app store’s rules. Do not unlawfully copy, sell, distribute, or misuse the Game or its content. Nothing in these terms restricts uses permitted by applicable law or third-party licenses. The Game’s artwork, characters, music, code, and other content belong to their respective rights holders; this license does not transfer ownership.
1.3 Local play and saved information
Local matches can be played without an account or an Internet connection, with humans sharing a device and optional bots. The Game saves your nickname, camera sensitivity, axis-inversion preferences, and music and voice-over mute settings on your device. We do not provide a cloud-save or account-recovery service. Deleting the Game’s local data, uninstalling it, or losing your device may erase these settings. The Game is fictional entertainment; rooftop stunts and banana battles are not instructions for real-world behavior.
1.4 Online rooms and fair play
Online play requires an Internet connection and a compatible game version. You choose a nickname and create or join a room using its code. Other players in the room can see your assigned nickname and gameplay. A room code is an invitation to join, not a password or a guarantee of a private match; share it only with people you intend to invite. Do not put your real name, contact details, or sensitive information in your nickname.
Use online rooms respectfully. Do not use abusive or impersonating nicknames, cheat, exploit bugs, disrupt other players, overload the service, or attempt unauthorized access. Invalid or excessive traffic may be rejected or disconnected to protect the service. The current Game has no text or voice chat.
Online matches depend on the game server, each player’s connection, and the host’s device, which runs the shared throw simulation. Disconnects, a host leaving, service interruptions, or incompatible versions may interrupt or end a match. Reconnection is temporary and is not guaranteed. Online features may change or become unavailable.
1.5 Availability and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Game is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation or compatibility with every device. Development versions may change, and future features or release dates are not guaranteed. To that same extent, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Game. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory warranties, consumer rights, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
1.6 Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico, subject to any mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring claims in your place of residence that apply to you.
1.7 Changes
We may update these terms as the Game changes. Revised terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Any notice or acceptance required by applicable law will be provided or obtained.
2. Privacy Policy
2.1 Local play and information on your device
Local matches do not require a connection to our game server. Your nickname, camera sensitivity, axis-inversion preferences, and music and voice-over mute settings are saved in local app storage. Local match actions are not sent to us. The Game does not require account registration or an email address, and does not include advertising, analytics, or a third-party crash-reporting SDK.
You can change your nickname and preferences in the Game. You can remove local app files by clearing the Game’s app data where your device supports that option, or by deleting the Game and its associated data. Your operating system may include app files in device backups under your backup settings; we do not operate or have access to those backups.
2.2 Information processed for online play
When you choose online play, the Game connects to our game-room service hosted on Cloudflare. We process your chosen nickname, room code, randomly assigned player and match identifiers, connection status, and gameplay messages. These messages include throws, special-action choices, health, match results, and the simulation updates needed to keep players in sync. Temporary session credentials and recent game messages support reconnection after an interruption.
We use this information to create and join rooms, assign players, run matches, deliver shared game state, and restore eligible interrupted connections. Your IP address is processed by the hosting infrastructure and used by our service to limit excessive connection attempts and protect availability. Cloudflare also processes technical connection information to deliver and secure the service; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
2.3 What other players can see
Players in the same room receive the room’s assigned nicknames, player identifiers, connection status, and shared match state, actions, and results. Your nickname may receive a suffix to distinguish it from another player’s. The Game does not share your IP address or reconnection credential with other players through its game messages. It does not provide text or voice chat. Choose a nickname that does not reveal personal or sensitive information.
2.4 Storage, retention, and sharing
The game-room application keeps room state, session credentials, and a bounded recent-message history in server memory rather than a persistent player database. Active room state resets when the room empties, and in-memory information is lost when its server instance restarts. Recent-message history is limited and replaced as new messages arrive; leaving a room does not guarantee immediate removal of every recent message. Temporary reconnection credentials expire or are removed when the corresponding session ends.
Infrastructure and application-error logs are separate from in-memory game state and may be retained for service operation, troubleshooting, and security under the hosting provider’s policies and service settings. We do not sell player data or use online match data for advertising. Information is processed by our hosting providers to operate the service and shared with room participants as described above. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law.
2.5 Children’s privacy
The same local and online data practices apply to all players. The Game does not ask for a player’s age, real name, email address, or contact details. Online nicknames are visible to other room participants, so children should use a nickname that does not identify them and share room codes with a parent or guardian’s guidance. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a nickname or support message, contact us so we can address it.
2.6 This website, distribution platforms, and support
This policy page contains no analytics, tracking scripts, cookies, embedded services, or externally loaded fonts. Firebase Hosting processes IP addresses when serving the website and preventing abuse, and retains IP data for a few months as described in Firebase’s privacy information.
App stores, test-distribution services, and operating-system providers may separately process downloads, purchases, tester information, backups, or diagnostics under their own policies and your device settings. Those services operate independently of the Game. See, for example, App Store & Privacy.
If you choose to email support, your email provider and ours process the message, and we receive your email address and the information you include so that we can respond. Please do not send sensitive personal information. Support correspondence is separate from game-room data and may be kept as needed to handle your request and meet applicable legal obligations.
2.7 Your choices and requests
You can use local play without joining an online room, change your nickname, leave online rooms, and remove local app data. Contact us to ask about our data practices or request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law. Because there are no persistent player accounts and room data is temporary, we may be unable to identify or recover a past session. Do not send reconnection credentials with a support request.
2.8 Policy updates
We will update this policy if the Game’s privacy practices change and revise the effective date above. Any new data practices will be disclosed, with any notice or consent required by applicable law.
